Our By-Laws and Neighborhood Restrictions
When The Sanctuary was first developed, the homeowners formed The Sanctuary Master Association with the intent of setting standards for use and appearance of properties in order to preserve the value and concept of the neighborhood. These standards and guidelines were set forth in The Sanctuary By-Laws. The by-laws have undergone very few changes since 1986. Amendments to the by-laws can be proposed (and implemented) at any time by a 2/3rds majority vote approval of our homeowners.
New Amendment: We have recently adopted and approved the restriction that prohibits any registered sexual offender from occupying a residence within The Sanctuary. This restriction has been legally added to our neigborhood by-laws and restrictions in 2012.
